Ceremony
In the build up to The Excellence Network honours ceremony, Community Care will be running specials on each of the 5 leading edge ways of working outlined, and covering the commended teams. The celebrated teams and Community Care Champions will then be honoured at a high profile lunchtime ceremony at Community Care Live in London on 14th May 2008. With a celebrity presenter hosting the ceremony, the Care Services Minister will hand out plaques to the newly commended teams that have become part of The Excellence Network. This event – attended by senior figures in the profession – is a unique opportunity for people from all walks of life working in social care to come together and be recognised and honoured for their passion and commitment, share and celebrate excellence, and will provide a unique networking opportunity for all.
